I love this park!! It's my go to place when I just need some quiet space!! The (paved) walking trails are great!! And if you need a swim, there are 3 pools, one of which is for the young'uns! Lots of parking.
As an out-of-towner, I love walking down here, it's freah, shady, and picturesque by the river. The city has developed an innovative "Natural Ponds" for kids of all ages to swim in, a very nice bike park, and even an outdoor gym! Bravo Castlegar!
One of the nicest city parks I've ever been to. Excellent location easy parking and great for all ages. Hiking biking outdoor gym right on the banks of the Cokumbia River a nice stroll from city centre.

This venue is like a beautiful jewel tucked away along the mighty Columbia river. There is an appeal to all ages, from the very young to the golden agers. Ample parking, bathrooms, benches, well manicured lawn, pools and sand, walking paths, outdoor exercise equipment and many other amazing features welcome you.
