Great food and great owners , highly recommend !
One of the best German restaurants I have eaten at in BC and AB. The atmosphere reminds me of going to your aunt or your grandmothers house for dinner. I had Bavarian bratwurst with a side of mashed potatoes red cabbage and sauerkraut and carrots. I left satisfied. The service was friendly and fair. The building is an older hotel so don't expect five star decor but it stands out with the food. If you are in Castlegar it is definitely worth putting on the shortlist for good restaurants.
Really delicious German authentic food. We were visiting the town and surprised by three different dishes we ordered. The restaurant has small town feeling into it and the food taste like homemade style.
Just ate here and I have to say I was quite surprised at how good the food is. I had the bruschetta and it was honestly one of the best I've ever had. I can't wait to come back to try more items on the menu. The owner is so nice and sweet. It's a little run down but I think they plan on doing renovations in the future. Don't let that scare you away! They are really trying :)
We went here for the first time last weekend and we were very impressed with the food. It was delicious and can't wait to go back. The brochette was so good and the schnitzel dinner was awesome. The lady who owns the place was very sweet. I highly recommend this place.
