We stayed 3 nights in the Richmond cabin. It was very clean and quiet. The cabin is well equipped for cooking. The deck was a great place to enjoy our morning coffee and the bed was very comfortable! The owners were super friendly and very knowledgeable about the area and had many suggestions for things to do!
Kim and Wylie are amazing hosts. We live in Castlegar and were taking on a project to build a house. Our house sold quicker than expected and hadn't had time to solidify a spot to park our trailer till our new house was complete. They were able to accommodate us for 6 weeks with very little notice on our part. Sites were great with full hookups and the nights were nice and quiet, slept very good.
Love this picturesque little oasis conveniently nestled right off highway 3, just minutes from downtown Castlegar. It has such a wonderful feel. It evokes a true sense of peace and relaxation. Well maintained facilities and campground.My daughter and 3 grandsons, have rented one of their park models on 2 separate holidays. They are so well kept and furnished. Very comfortable "camping."
Not good place to stop for night. Seems it has become a seasonal campground for almost all of it making it cramped. Had to get neighbor across from us move his truck to get into spot. Only one spot left to camp. Could hardly get trailer into spot without either hitting pole on one side or neighbors table. Loved this place few years ago but not now. Thumbs DOWN.
Barely adequate. Shabby but functional.Kim, Thank you for your request for more information about our stay. One thing was that the men's washroom smelled of urine. But our biggest issue was the tiny site we had, and it was extremely unlevel. May we suggest you retire this site until it can be leveled properly.
