Quaint place that was the best hotel in Castlegar back in the 60's. Currently run by a very nice family who also manage the restaurant.
Stayed at the Chameleon hotel last week . It was a nice, affordable place to stay. When I got home 2 days later I realized I forgot my keys. Called the hotel and had them back in a week
Really nice hotel. Looks a little run down from the outside but don't be scared off. The interior has been updated yet retains a lot of character. The room was clean and comfortable, nice hot shower with perfect water pressure. The owner was very friendly and helpful. Couldn't have asked for more for the price.
The owners are really friendly. Room was nicely decorated with a comfortable bed. Price was reasonable. Located in a good location. Only down side was the room got a little chilly overnight, but not uncomfortably chilly. I'd stay here again.
Such hospitable owners. Knowing I was vegan they even made me a special meal in their restaurant. Yum!
