The rooms are comfortable and tasteful, with views out towards the Columbia River. There was a huge window in the front room which was open for the guests, we spent the evening on the sofa. Could not quite see the river because there were trees, but there's a beach across the road. The front garden is full of flowers. The area has lots of walks, we went to the confluence of the Columbia and Kootenay rivers. We'd like to go there again and spend an extra night.The host, Mark, was friendly and a great cook.
Elegant and whimsical best describe the stay. Marc whipped up a Gourmet breakfast with a five star presentation and interesting humorous anecdotes . There are many small touches that the friendly and accommodating hosts have done to make our stay the best Bed and. breakfast we have ever experienced. Mirja is an amazing artist with her artwork on display throughout the B&B. She adds the whimsical to the stay. We will be back to visit with them again. During your stay be sure to ask about Margaret, their rescue Turkey.
My Husband and I, stayed here while in town for a funeral. Mark was an amazing host, made us feel welcome and at ease. The rooms were fabulous, clean, fresh linens and wonderful dcor. Breakfast was amazing - his skills at culinary arts made our dining experience fabulous. Thanks Mark!
